La graduada de South Seneca 2017, Emily Lavarnway, estableció un nuevo récord de competencia de atletismo en el Campeonato SUNYAC en el evento de Heptatlón para Geneseo College el sábado en Geneseo. Los Caballeros de Geneseo capturaron su undécimo título general del Campeonato SUNYAC detrás del día récord de Lavarnway.
Emily, quien está terminando su primer año en Geneseo, competirá en el Campeonato Nacional de Atletismo de la División III de la NCAA en LaCrosse, Wisconsin, el 24 y 25 de mayo y actualmente ocupa el puesto 9 en el país.
